Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. As a key member of our surgical team, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee surgical procedures, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
- Manage patient medication and anesthesia, working closely with anesthesiologists to ensure safe and effective care.
- Utilize preference cards and anticipate surgeons' needs to ensure smooth surgical procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication between surgical team members, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Review patient charts for completeness, adhering to documentation protocols.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure.
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment.
- ACLS as required by facility.
- CNOR certification preferred.
