Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Renown Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing quality pharmaceutical care, protocol implementation, and drug distribution for patients with cancer on our inpatient oncology unit and outpatient infusion center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients with cancer, including medication therapy management and monitoring
  • Implement and manage clinical pharmacy protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
  • Monitor and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE accredited pharmacy program or 10 years of experience in acute care pharmacy
  • Completion of a Pharmacy Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy is preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Pharmacist license
  • Healthcare BLS within the first 90 days of employment is required
