WSP is currently seeking a Geotechnical & Tunneling Engineer for our expanding operations. Engage in projects with our Geotechnical & Tunneling Team and contribute to a dynamic organization that addresses client needs and overcomes challenges.

Your Contributions
  • Conducting planning, estimating, and executing subsurface investigations and laboratory testing in soil and rock
  • Collaborating with regulatory bodies, subcontractors, drillers, and clients in a professional and confident manner
  • Performing geotechnical evaluations and designing tunnels, shallow and deep foundations, embankments/cuts, pavements, and earth retention systems for various projects
  • Drafting geotechnical memoranda, data, and design documentation
  • Creating design drawings and specifications
  • Providing geotechnical assistance during construction phases
  • Exercising ethical decision-making regarding company resources and adhering to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as required by business demands
Who You Are

Essential Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering
  • Engineer-In-Training Certification
  • Demonstrated ethical decision-making regarding company resources and adherence to WSP's Code of Conduct
  • Strong self-leadership skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to learn new methodologies, perform various tasks concurrently, follow instructions, work independently, and comply with company policies
  • Proven commitment to workplace safety and compliance with WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol policies
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
