Renal Dietitian

LifeBridge Health, a leading healthcare provider in Maryland, is seeking a skilled Renal Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Renal Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and other renal conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess nutritional status and develop individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) plans for patients with ESRD and other renal conditions.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and caregivers on nutrition-related topics, including nutrient requirements, dietary restrictions, and medication management.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust MNT plans as needed, and document patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to renal nutrition care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure in Maryland or where the facility is located.
- Minimum of two years of professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
- Experience working in a dialysis setting is preferred.
