Renal Dietitian

LifeBridge Health, a leading healthcare provider in Maryland, is seeking a skilled Renal Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Renal Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and other chronic kidney conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess nutritional status and develop individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) plans for patients with ESRD.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their caregivers, focusing on nutrient requirements, knowledge, and abilities, as well as medical, economic, and social situations.
- Monitor nutritional status, laboratory values, dialysis adequacy, and adherence to diet and response to nutrition-related medications and therapy.
- Collaborate with the medical team, nursing staff, and other patient care team members to ensure effective relationships and communication.
- Participate in anemia management and present nutrition-related in-services for the clinical team quarterly.
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- State licensure in Maryland or where the facility is located.
- Minimum of two years of professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
- Exceptional time management skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
