LPN w/Meds, PCN Specialist

Job Summary:
UPMC is seeking a skilled LPN w/Meds, PCN to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of medical services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients and their families.
- Obtain and interpret patient information to provide tailored care.
- Administer medications and vaccines as ordered by the attending physician.
- Oversee the sterilization of office equipment and manage stock supplies.
- Perform laboratory duties while ensuring compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations.
- Identify and communicate patients' educational needs to their physician.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and perform specialized procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
- One-year clinical experience preferred.
- Phlebotomy experience and EPIC experience also preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
