Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to contribute to our growing organization. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing the procurement process, ensuring we secure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with company objectives.
    • Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough vendor evaluations.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
    • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
    • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
    • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor performance.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively delegating tasks and evaluating progress toward goals.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports on spending patterns and trends to inform decision-making.
    • Oversee the Purchase Order process, ensuring timely receipt of goods and verifying quality and quantity against specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software systems.
  • Experience within the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
