- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with company objectives.
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough vendor evaluations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively delegating tasks and evaluating progress toward goals.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on spending patterns and trends to inform decision-making.
- Oversee the Purchase Order process, ensuring timely receipt of goods and verifying quality and quantity against specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software systems.
- Experience within the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
