Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to join our team at EO. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our employees, tenants, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily custodial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, and offices.
  • Empty trash and recyclables from suites and common areas.
  • Set up and arrange tables and chairs for events and meetings.
  • Monitor building security and safety, including locking doors and checking electrical appliance use.
  • Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and facility duties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior custodial experience and building maintenance in a large facility preferred.
  • Current CPR and first aid training preferred.
Work Environment

This position is based in the Abingdon, Virginia office and requires occasional weekend support for users renting EO conference rooms and event space.

Physical Demands

The employee must be able to work outside in varied weather conditions and perform physical activities, such as bending, standing, climbing low to high heights, jogging, and walking.

Travel Requirements

The ideal candidate will reside in the EO service area and be available to travel to multiple facilities as necessary.
