Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated structural design engineer or upcoming graduate to join our dynamic team in Juneau, Alaska.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine structural loads and perform calculations, analysis, and design for buildings, bridges, and waterfront structures.
- Assist in the development of construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Conduct inspections and condition assessments of existing structures, preparing technical engineering reports with recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on related fields such as site-civil design, surveying, environmental engineering, and permitting.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited engineering school.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam or ability to do so within 6 months of hire.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 10-20% of the time.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record.
