Direct Support Professional

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as mental health needs, in their daily lives.
Job Summary:Our Direct Support Professionals assist clients with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, medical needs, and social activities. You will work closely with our clients to develop and implement personalized plans that promote their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with daily cares, medical needs, and supports
- Develop and implement daily routines that promote choice and independence
- Plan and implement recreation, leisure, and community activities
- Drive clients to appointments and community activities
- Assist clients in establishing and maintaining community relationships
- Provide person-centered services and maintain confidentiality
- Document program data and daily log information accurately
- At least 1 year of experience working with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Interest in supporting clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or mental health needs
- Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain qualified status
- Must have a valid current driver's license and vehicle insurance
