We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Soar Autism Center in Lakewood, Colorado. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) overcome speech and language challenges.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program and a license to practice speech pathology in the state of Colorado. Our team collaborates closely with families to develop individualized therapy plans that empower children to reach their full potential.

This is an ongoing employment opportunity with flexible scheduling options available. You will have the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive care to children aged 2-6.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with families to ensure seamless care. We prioritize early intervention, integrated autism care, and evidence-based methodologies tailored to each child's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
  • Develop and execute detailed treatment plans aimed at improving the communication abilities of children aged 2-6
  • Collaborate extensively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Actively involve families in the treatment process by providing education, resources, and support
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • A license to practice speech pathology in the state of Colorado
  • Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or a willingness to learn from our clinical teams
