Salary and Benefits

About the Job
This Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist role involves working closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art facility to deliver high-quality heart care. The position requires relevant certifications, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
The successful candidate will prepare and maintain equipment for cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient care and safety. This role also involves serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
