Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. About the Role

This position involves working closely with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art facility to deliver high-quality heart care. The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist prepares and maintains equipment for cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient care and safety. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of equipment before and during procedures
  • Patient assessment and positioning
  • Maintenance of a sterile environment

Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
  • Previous procedural area experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
Preferred Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program; One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred; Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS; Basic Life Support; Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
