Job Title: Precision Machine Assembler
Key Responsibilities:
The role of the Precision Machine Assembler involves the meticulous assembly of complex mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, quality standards, and client timelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust mechanical and electrical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and practical experience with precision machinery.
- Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly of precision components and sub-assemblies.
- Employ a variety of tools and measuring instruments to fit and align parts with high precision.
- Perform comprehensive inspections to verify assembly accuracy and uphold quality standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical challenges encountered during assembly operations.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to refine assembly processes and enhance product quality.
- Maintain an orderly and clean workspace while effectively managing tools, materials, and finished products.
- Ensure the proper packaging of machines to avert damage, utilizing suitable packaging materials.
- Adhere to the company's quality system requirements, following established policies, procedures, and training protocols.
- Comply with safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in precision assembly or a related discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications proficiently.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with manual dexterity for effective use of tools and instruments.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to work within stringent tolerances for precision assembly.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Commitment to adhering to safety practices and protocols.
- A valid driver's license is required.
