Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Drafter-P&ID to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in the SPID conversion efforts by picking up field redlines on P&IDs and generating drafting using AutoCAD and 3rd party software (CADWorx).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the SPID conversion efforts by picking up field redlines on P&IDs according to company standards.
  • Generate drafting using AutoCAD and 3rd party software (CADWorx) while working with a multi-discipline team.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with coworkers, operations, and engineering department personnel.
  • Develop and ensure complete drawing packages for IFA (Issued for Approval).
Requirements and Skills
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience with a degree.
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience without a degree.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience in Midstream Design.
  • Excellent working knowledge of 3D and 2D pipeline design software (i.e. CADWorx, AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Knowledge and experience using Windows operating systems.
  • Must have good communication skills, written & verbal, work with minimal supervision, and simultaneously manage multiple projects to meet scheduled deadlines.
