Logistics Operations Specialist

A Logistics Operations Specialist with Goodwill Industries of Hawaii, Inc. is responsible for transporting materials to and from specified destinations using light trucks weighing between 15,001 to 26,000 GVW. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and be able to perform daily inspections of vehicles and equipment. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
This role involves driving a truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading the vehicle, identifying unusable material, and advising donors on alternative pick-up methods. They will also be required to maintain accurate records, including truck logs and vehicle maintenance sheets.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of experience in a similar role. They must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver wheeled containers weighing up to 300 pounds. Additionally, they will need to pass a DOT physical and functional capacity exam, and be at least 21 years of age.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
