Job Description

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Pomfret, Maryland.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving/enhancing the patient's well-being.
  • Follow established plans of care and make recommendations for changes as needed.
  • Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.
  • Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and other members of the healthcare team in areas of therapy within the scope of the physical therapy assistant.
Requirements
  • Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
