Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes.

About the Role:
  • As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that improve patient outcomes.
  • You will instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist, nurse supervisor, and/or physician.
  • Coordinating care with other healthcare team members as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
