Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Judson ISD is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathology Assistant will provide speech-language services to eligible students under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech-language services to assigned students, including planning and implementing therapy sessions, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education plans.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement classroom-based activities to improve oral and written language skills.
  • Compile and maintain accurate records of student progress, including attendance and progress reports.
  • Administer routine tests and assessments as directed by the licensed supervisor.
  • Comply with policies established by Federal and State laws, State Board of Education rules, and State Licensing Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from the Texas State Board of Examiners (SBOE) for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Minimum of 50 hours observation and direct clinical service as directed by the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant's license requirements.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
