About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team at Symbotic. As a key member of our Customer Operations organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our robotic material handling system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated systems, including robotic vehicles and adapters
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with the system, using advanced test equipment and electro-mechanical diagrams
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and Symbotic safety protocols, and maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the Customer Operations team to drive operational excellence and best-in-class quality, safety, and system performance
  • Perform periodic system inspections, document all actions and repairs, and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in electronics, automotive, automation, or manufacturing
  • At least 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or educational/training equivalent
  • Strong electro-mechanical skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to multitask and perform multiple job functions at once
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to working safely
