R&D Strategist

Fortescue is seeking a seasoned R&D professional to spearhead technology innovation and delivery across our portfolio.

The Principal, R&D Delivery position will work directly with technical subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deliver technology research programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement R&D strategy in alignment with company goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in engineering or science (PhD preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in technology innovation, research, and development, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects.
• Experience managing federally-funded research projects and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of technologies relevant to green energy, decarbonization, and heavy industry.
• Estimated salary: $180,000 - $250,000 per year.
