Pediatrician (Part-Time) - Queens

The Charles B. Wang Community Health Center is seeking a part-time pediatrician to join our team in Queens. As a pediatrician at our health center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to pediatric patients in a community health setting
  • Participate in the multi-disciplinary team approach for the care of pediatric patients
  • Work closely with ancillary services to ensure comprehensive and coordinated medical care
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
  • Develop and deliver community health outreach and education
  • Provide training to students, interns, and other health staff
  • Maintain skills through continuing medical education
  • Maintain productivity level and obtain hospital privileges
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduated from an accredited medical school and licensed to practice in New York State
  • Certification or eligible for certification by the American Board of Pediatrics
  • Knowledge of a second language (such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish) preferred
