About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated teacher to join our team at Chattanooga Preparatory School. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in transforming young lives through exceptional education and character development.

Responsibilities
  • Purposefully plan, deliver, and assess instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, creating a motivating and supportive classroom environment that fosters growth and achievement.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs that address student needs, leveraging evidence-based instructional practices tailored to students' requirements.
  • Establish clear content and language objectives for all lessons, utilizing data to inform instruction and drive academic progress.

The ideal candidate will have a current Tennessee license, with SPED Modified K-12 or SPED Comp K-12. A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution is also required. We seek a team-oriented approach and effective communication skills as essential qualifications.
