Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records, including patient information and medication lists.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
