Position Details: This role involves the production and mailing of direct mail campaigns. Responsibilities may include printing, folding, inserting, addressing, and sorting various marketing materials such as letters, postcards, and brochures. It is essential to ensure that all direct mail pieces are accurately assembled and processed in accordance with specifications and postal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Folding, assembling, inserting, packaging, sorting, and mailing
  • Operating mail production machinery while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Independently setting up and adjusting equipment for production runs
  • Troubleshooting issues with mailing, sorting, folding, and inserting machinery
  • Monitoring machine operations to ensure proper functionality and identifying any discrepancies
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to enhance production processes and address any challenges

Qualifications:

  • Proven work history demonstrating reliability, excellent attendance, and responsibility.
  • Experience in a Direct Mail/Lettershop or Printing environment.
  • Ability to recognize improper machine operations and make basic adjustments.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
  • Familiarity with USPS postal regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend job tickets while documenting the production process.
  • Experience using powered material handling equipment and stacking pallets.
  • Willingness to work extended or varied shifts during peak periods.
  • A High School diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Work Environment: Production Facility

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours a day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be necessary while performing specific job functions.
