We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Supervisor to join our team at Trail Drive Management Corp. as a key member of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality desserts and baked goods in our concession areas, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our pastry team, ensuring efficient and effective production of desserts and baked goods.
- Develop and implement new dessert menus and recipes, working closely with our Pastry Chef to ensure alignment with our culinary vision.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with our Food and Beverage leadership team to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Train and develop our pastry team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Monitor and control labor and food costs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume, complex food service operation, preferably in a sports or entertainment venue.
- Comprehensive knowledge of baking, pastry, and chocolate work, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and deadlines.
- Ability to work extended shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to be flexible with scheduling.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent movement in and out of controlled temperature units and exposure to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level may be moderate to high, and the employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with occasional assistance in lifting/moving 100 pounds or more.
