About the Role

Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychologist to join our team. As a Psychologist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, and provide comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake interviews and diagnostic assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer, score, and interpret a variety of psychological measures to inform assessment and treatment decisions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy and behavioral interventions, to promote client growth and well-being.
  • Provide regular progress updates and communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Full, unrestricted licensure as a psychologist in Minnesota or license-eligible post-doctoral resident.
  • Proven experience in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests and assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
