About the Role

Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our Psychology Department, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake interviews and diagnostic assessments to identify referral questions and develop assessment plans.
  • Administer, score, and interpret a variety of psychological measures to inform diagnostic decision-making and treatment planning.
  • Obtain and review collateral information to provide a comprehensive understanding of each client's situation.
  • Compose integrated psychological evaluation reports that summarize findings and recommendations.
  • Provide interactive feedback to caregivers, care providers, and/or patients to facilitate understanding and implementation of treatment plans.
  • Carry a patient caseload as assigned and attend case consultation and team meetings to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Provide supervision to post-doctoral trainees and/or doctoral-level practicum students to support their professional development.
  • Comply with clinic documentation and billing standards, as well as licensing board rules and the APA Code of Ethics.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Full, unrestricted licensure as a psychologist in Minnesota or license-eligible post-doctoral resident status.
  • Highly developed ability in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests.
  • Demonstrated skill in clinical interviewing and verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide consultation to colleagues.
