About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sr. Product Manager to lead our efforts in developing innovative solutions for our advertiser customers. As a key member of our team, you will drive the vision, technical design, and roadmap for a significant portion of our advertising business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain product vision, roadmap, and business requirements documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales Operations, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, to drive product development and delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage comprehensive user acceptance testing, including creation of test cases.
  • Identify, assess, track, and mitigate risks at multiple levels.
  • Communicate risks to stakeholders and define risk mitigation strategies.
A Day in the Life
  • Empathize with customers and understand their problems and needs.
  • Dive deep to find the root cause of problems and suggest solutions.
  • Perform benefits and tradeoff assessments to determine the best solution.
  • Collaborate with the tech team to bring solutions to life.
  • Participate in tech discussions to ensure products are scalable and sustainable.
  • Connect with customers throughout the product lifecycle to exceed their expectations.
About the Team

Our team is highly cross-functional, with business intelligence, data science, and full-stack engineers working together to solve complex problems for our customers. We thrive on brainstorming and bouncing off solutions that transform lives and have functions across product and program management to scale positive impact.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoff of a product.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
  • Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, offering a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, in addition to a competitive salary and equity package.
