Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services team. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and education in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Deliver education and training to patients and their families on dialysis treatment and self-care techniques.
  • Supervise and mentor Dialysis Technicians to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 12 months' experience in dialysis nursing or a related field.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in chronic hemodialysis, acute dialysis, and/or peritoneal dialysis nursing.
  • Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background.
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification.
