Job Summary:

South Shore Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Float Pool team. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work on various Med Surg units, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the needs of our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care

Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

Participate in unit-based initiatives and hospital committees to improve patient outcomes and workflows

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred

ACLS certification required

Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills

Work Schedule:

Nights 12x3, 7p-7a. Rotating weekends and holidays. Schedules may be adjusted based on business need.
