Position: Manufacturing Operator
Employment Type: Temporary (with potential for extension and conversion to full-time)
Location: Bothell, WA, USA
Compensation: $19 - $21 per hour on W2 plus benefits
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in Electro-Mechanical assembly.
- Proficient in using standard hand tools such as torque drivers, soldering irons, screwdrivers, crimp tools, and wire cutters. Must be capable of handling and manipulating small components consistently over extended periods.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks in a manufacturing setting, which may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Responsibilities include regular sitting, handling, and occasional walking and standing. Close vision and color vision are necessary.
- Demonstrate good eye-hand coordination and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors. Must maintain a positive demeanor and respond constructively to feedback.
- Support various operational functions as required, including assembly and other assigned tasks.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Electro-Mechanical assembly.
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 15 lbs frequently, up to 40 lbs regularly, and up to 60 lbs occasionally (not all roles necessitate this capability).
- Familiarity with computer systems and common software applications is advantageous.
- Assemble, align, and test intricate electro-mechanical, opto-electrical, mechanical, and electronic subassemblies based on product diagrams, schematics, or samples. Clean and prepare components for assembly as needed.
- Ability to interpret production or engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, test instructions, assembly drawings, work orders, procedures, and safety protocols. Must be able to determine the sequence of operations from sketches, samples, and written/oral instructions. Ability to inspect and test to specifications and document results accurately.
Minimum Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
