Job Overview

Mountain Park Health Center is seeking a skilled Pediatrician to join our team in Greater Phoenix. As a Pediatrician, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of patients, working in a quality-oriented, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, adhering to medical standards.
  • Provide recommendations to ensure that all programs have adequate medical input prior to their utilization.
  • Advise management on performance deficiencies of medical auxiliary personnel.
  • Evaluate patients in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Hospitalize patients with serious conditions necessitating in-patient care.
  • Interact effectively with all levels of staff, other providers, patients, and the public.
  • Contribute to the training and proficiencies of clinical personnel, including medical students.
  • Adhere to all MPHC Policies and Procedures not otherwise addressed in employment contract.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs to ensure patients receive quality care.
  • Attend medical staff meetings and other meetings as advised by Vice President of Department.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of annual health plans.
  • Participate in MPHC activities such as health fairs.
  • Embrace diversity and interact with internal and external contacts in a culturally competent and respectful manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Promote positive patient/guest relations in accordance with MPHC policies, providing high-quality personal attention and service.
  • Comply with MPHC Safety Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance with governmental licensing and regulatory requirements where applicable.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient, visitor, and coworker information, including salary information.
  • Dress according to MPHC's dress code policy and procedure, and comply with specific departmental regulations pertaining to employee appearance.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of facility organizational structure by utilizing appropriate channels of communication, maintaining consistent and timely communication with coworkers.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine.

Previous experience in primary care, excellent communication skills.

Board Certified/Board Eligible.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current Arizona License, DEA Certificate, Board Certification/Letter Stating Board Eligible, CPR Certification.
