Assistant Professor of Health and Exercise Science

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our Department of Health and Exercise Science at Wake Forest University. The successful candidate will have expertise in Health and Exercise Science with an emphasis in clinical nutrition research and a strong commitment to academic distinction and diversity.
Responsibilities- Teach a variety of Health and Exercise Science courses, including Nutrition, Human Physiology, Epidemiology, and Exercise Physiology.
- Establish a productive research program of national and international significance in clinical nutrition research.
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate research projects.
- Academically advise students and contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
Applicants must have an earned doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in nutrition or a closely related field. Post-doctoral training and teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels are also required. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated potential for successful extramural funding and experience with randomized clinical trial research.
