Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cabling Systems Specialist to manage the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality communication infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the installation of Cat5e/6 structured cabling systems in accordance with industry standards (EIA/TIA, BICSI).
  • Install fiber optic cabling to enhance network performance.

General Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 80lbs.
  • Climb ladders reaching heights of up to 28 feet.
  • Work in confined spaces such as attics.
  • Maintain physical stamina to bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
  • Engage in team meetings to provide updates on ongoing projects.
Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, colleagues, and clients through various channels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and troubleshooting teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in data networking, fiber connectivity, and on-premise telephony networking.
  • Self-Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage personal time effectively.
  • Initiative: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Infrastructure Systems Director.
