Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving complex commercial construction projects to completion. You will work closely with our talented construction professionals to turn client visions into reality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and attend job walks to ensure project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare and qualify bids to secure new projects and grow our business.
  • Coordinate building access to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare meeting minutes and weekly status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Track and review RFI's, submittals, shop drawings, samples, procurement, and cost management to ensure project efficiency.
  • Complete project start-up and close-out documents to ensure a seamless project experience.
  • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with daily project management tasks.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years' experience working as a Project Engineer with a commercial general contractor.
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in Construction Management preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, project scheduling, BlueBeam, Procore, PlanGrid, and CAD preferred.
  • Ability to effectively present information in oral, written, and graphic form.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to read architectural/engineering plans and specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of project estimating and scheduling.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to adapt behavior to meet the needs of the project to ensure project success.
