Construction Superintendent

At Allan Myers, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead our infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates technical proficiency in multiple aspects of heavy civil construction, including bridge, highway, excavation, pipe, concrete, or paving, grading, mechanical, and other relevant disciplines.
Plans and organizes work to maximize crew productivity, establishing work plans and staffing plans for each project phase, and communicating performance expectations to crews.
Supervises field managers, mentors, and coaches them in leading their crews, and maximizes equipment utilization levels and schedules field personnel assignments.
Reviews job costs with project managers and field managers, and implements adjustments as needed, following the Allan Myers Safety Program.
Coordinates with field managers, other superintendents, and customers to implement successful project plans, maintaining professional relationships with owners, engineers, and other construction team members.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 6 years of heavy civil construction experience, with at least 2 years of superintendent experience required, and experience in multiple trade disciplines preferred.
OSHA 30 hour certification required, with a valid driver's license also required.
