Senior Quantum Computing Systems Designer

At PSI Quantum, we are on a mission to build the world's first useful quantum computer. This extraordinary endeavor will require a team of exceptional talent with expertise in computational physics and software engineering.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Quantum Computing Systems Designer to drive the development of internal tools for designing and analyzing our system architecture. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering and proficiency in Python.
The responsibilities of this role include designing and developing software tools and infrastructure to enable development, analysis, and tracking of our quantum system architecture. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to our Quantum Computing system architecture and software system roadmap.
We also require candidates with hands-on experience in software development, specifically in scientific computing, as well as an ability to collaborate effectively across departments, sites, and time zones.

About the Role- Design and develop software tools and infrastructure to enable development, analysis, and tracking of our quantum system architecture.
- Contribute to our Quantum Computing system architecture and software system roadmap.
- Develop and improve simulation tools that evaluate system models of photonic modules using Fock and Gaussian states.

Estimated Base Pay Range: $120,000 - $173,000 USD
