Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead our data analysis and visualization team
  • Develop and conduct comprehensive research and analysis to inform policy decisions
  • Communicate complex analytical and scientific processes to internal and external stakeholders
  • Administer DYCD's ArcGIS organizational account, including managing GIS licenses and providing guidance to internal users
  • Provide technical support, analytical skills, and services to identify, communicate, and resolve system issues
  • Extract data from various sources, transform and clean data, and load it into centralized data repositories for visualization, analysis, and reporting
Requirements:
  • A master's degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, or environmental science or in public health
  • Three years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization
  • Or a doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and one year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity in the appropriate field of specialization
