Pharmacy Technician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Perform tasks such as retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions. Assist with scheduling and maintaining work flow, and report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
Process prescriptions, handle customer inquiries, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment. Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. Develop and maintain good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements:
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours. Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment, prior work experience with Walgreens, good math skills, and good computer skills.
