Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Administer medication, treatments, and provide advice and support to residents and their families.
  • Monitor Resident Health: Continuously monitor residents' health and well-being, identifying and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Document Resident Care: Accurately document resident care services in resident and department records.
  • Ensure Infection Control: Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols to protect residents and staff.
  • Resolve Resident Issues: Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to resolve resident problems and needs.
  • Maintain Quality of Care: Adhere to facility philosophies and standards of care to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Protect Resident Confidentiality: Maintain resident confidentiality and protect their personal information.
Requirements
  • Teamwork: Work effectively in a team environment to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Current RN License: Possess a current New York State RN license.
  • Long-Term Care Experience: Preferably have experience in long-term care.
  • Computer Skills: Possess solid computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent Communication: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
