Electrical Design and Modeling Specialist

PowerHawke, Inc. is a leading provider of design, installation, and maintenance services for utility construction, electrical contracting, industrial, and energy infrastructure. We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design and Modeling Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our project engineers and design team to produce high-quality electrical design, coordination, and pre-fabrication documents for our clients. Using Revit, the successful candidate will translate architectural/engineering drawings, models, and sketches into computer-generated BIM/drawings and coordinate the model and drawings with other discipline teams for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage modeling efforts and deliverables to solve construction issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Understand spatial coordination within a 3D environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in reading 2D plans.
  • Experience with structural modeling/drafting is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of construction processes (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings).
  • Proficient AutoCAD and modeling skills in Revit.

Working Conditions:

This position operates in an office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach.
