Position Overview:

The Global Security Operations Center Specialist is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of personnel and facilities. This position acts as the primary point of contact for emergencies that impact the organization and its locations, including security matters at facilities and residences, as well as for international travelers and expatriates. The Specialist employs innovative problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and expertise in the field to manage multiple urgent situations and time-sensitive challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 30% Emergency Management - Coordinate actions related to Emergency Response / 911 Calls, Executive Evacuations, Staff Evacuations, and Alarm Responses; implement contingency measures as necessary.
  • 70% Risk Evaluation and Administration - Continuously monitor advanced security systems for events such as national occurrences, weather updates, news, and traffic conditions. GSOC Specialists communicate and relay incidents to the relevant contacts and affected individuals. Conduct daily global security operations, including monitoring all corporate, residential, and other facilities, supporting investigative teams in data analysis, logistics assistance, report preparation, and vehicle tracking.

Reporting Structure:

  • This position typically reports to the Manager of Corporate Security - GSOC.
  • This position has no direct reports.

Travel Requirements:

  • Generally requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent seated in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move around. Occasionally, there may be a need to lift or move light items.

Working Environment:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor setting. Conditions may occasionally lead to mild discomfort.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to communicate complex or technical concepts in easily understandable terms to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience in a GSOC, security operations environment, or 911 dispatch role.
  • 1+ years in the security industry, customer service, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with advanced Microsoft Office/Windows applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

Minimum Education:

  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
