Job Opportunity

Kemper CPA Group LLP, a leading public accounting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Supervisory Staff Accountant to join our team in Olney, Illinois. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing entry-level staff accountants, reviewing their work, and providing guidance on complex accounting tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A CPA license is preferred, but not required. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex tax returns and provide tax planning advice to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with tax and audit teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Execute advanced journal entries and prepare complex financial statements.
  • Conduct thorough audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA license or eligibility to sit for the exam.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
