Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Securitas AB. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment for our clients and their employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake day-to-day tasks to maintain a secure and safe site, ensuring a fully focused and compliant operation that exceeds client expectations.
  • Manage access control and gate duties, staff and vehicle searches, traffic management, and car park duties.
  • Provide an effective departmental security presence and proactive response service.
  • Monitor fire and security alarm panels.
  • Adhere to communication requirements, records of delivery, and maintenance of all other required gate records.
  • Respond to and deal with all site risk events.
  • Carry out fire prevention duties.
  • Ensure all Client Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators are met.
  • Promote a professional image of Securitas.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid SIA license.
  • Provide the right to work in the UK and pass security clearance.
  • Be able to work as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Be able to work outside in all four seasons.
  • Be able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
  • Hold a clean full UK driving license.
  • Be able to make timely decisions and justify.
  • Be reasonably fit, as walking and conducting foot patrols is required.
