Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team at ICTS (UK). As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our warehouse stock, premises, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage access control for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Patrol the site on foot to deter and detect stock loss
- Conduct bag and body searches using hand-held metal detectors
- Screen people using walk-through scanners
- Deal professionally with incidents, including positive searches
- Respond to customer requests and queries
- Maintain records using computer- and paper-based systems
Requirements
- SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security
- Five years checkable history and references
- Pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards
Desirable Qualifications
- SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) license
- First Aid qualification
- Experience in a similar role
