Career Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a RN Student Nurse Extern Part Time Float Pool to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. This role will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assisting with daily living activities and creating a personalized care plan for each patient.
The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Job Summary
- The Nurse Extern PRN will work closely with the clinical team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
- You will assist patients with mobility by regularly turning, positioning, and ambulating as well as transferring patients to and from other units/departments.
- Obtain and record initial and ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care.
