Culinary Professional Wanted

The Center for Courageous Kids is seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining proper sanitation and cleanliness of all areas and equipment in the kitchen and dining hall, and overseeing and managing stewards and volunteers in a professional and kind manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Oversee and manage kitchen staff and volunteers
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
  • Serv-Safe Certification or ability to obtain
  • Minimum one year of culinary experience
  • Excellent sanitation and time management skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read and write fluently in English
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Physical strength to lift, load, and unload up to 50 pounds
