Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. Your primary responsibility will be to liaison between the customer and the service department, scheduling appointments, reviewing service history, and providing accurate cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Utilize the walk-around process to increase customer awareness of vehicle condition and build rapport
  • Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
  • Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations
  • Maintain the company's standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service, and good employee and community relations
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Increase profitability by maximizing sales and executing retail promotions
  • Monitor the technician working on customers' vehicles, including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, and job completion times
  • Oversee and participate in quality control
  • Participate in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as appropriate
Requirements
  • Experience in customer service roles, restaurant/hotel positions, and retail sales are highly encouraged to apply
  • A minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor is preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, enthusiastic presence with an ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Strong computer and phone skills
  • Work effectively and efficiently as an individual and in a team environment
  • Have and maintain an excellent driving record
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing, including a background check and drug screen
