Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician at the State of Texas, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our facilities by performing various tasks such as inventory management, furniture relocation, and file transportation. Your attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory warehouse/storage areas to determine supply availability
  • Move furniture, file cabinets, and other supplies
  • Transport boxes of files to and from facility, open building for employees needing to get files, dispose of files, and maintain security
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer's instructions

Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer's instructions
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
